See you down on the farm!
Spring Rabbit with organic veg
It’s now coming up to the ‘Hungry Gap’ and our winter vegetables are out of season and the spring vegetables won't be ready till early May. It’s the time of year when the winter crop is looking tired and beginning to sprout.

This is the time when we start to 'chit' our potatoes in the poly-tunnel.  You may have noticed shoots on your spuds.  If you put them in the ground in 3 weeks time you will end up with a plant, and in July there should be a nest of potatoes under the plant ready to harvest.

Surprisingly our delicious organic brussels, parsley, coriander, cabbages and spring onions are still in season so we still have fresh veg to offer along with other local and organic produce.
