About Goldhill Organic Farm

Our farm comprises 16 fields covering fifty HA (120 Acres). Most of our time is spent growing intensive vegetables on open fields in Poly-tunnels. We also rear beef cattle.

100% Organic Produce
|
|
The whole farm is organic, we do not use any artificial fertiliser or pesticides. This means that the food we produce is fresh, healthy and free from chemical contaminants. Our farm land is sustainable, encouraging wildlife and enriching the soil for the coming years crop and ensuring a good quality of soil for the coming generation of young farmers.

Our Vegetables

We grow a very wide range of vegetables all year round including: Carrots, Leeks, Potatoes, Parsnips, Lettuce, Celery, Calibres, Cabbage, Radish, Mange Tout, Peas, Spinach, Broad Beans, French Beans, Runner Beans, Fennel, Squash, Pumpkin, Coriander, Parsley and Basil. Of course not all these are available all the year round, so please contact us for availability if there is a particular vegetable or herb you would like to buy.

British White Beef Cattle
|
|
We are currently rearing thirty five British White Beef Cattle, who roam free on our extensive grassland. These animals are also of an organic class as they eat vegetables from the farm and graze on organic glasslands. These cattle are not treated with unnecessary antibiotics or other medicine - which means our cows are healthy and happy. This quality gives our meat a unique flavour and texture, which is quite different from the taste of intensively farmed beef available in the local supermarket.
